The 2000 Le Tour De France was the 87th Tour de France, and took place from 1-23 July, 2000. The distance traveled was 3663 km (counter-clockwise around France). The Tour passed through Switzerland and Germany.

In August 2012, the United States Anti-Doping Agency announced that they had disqualified Lance Armstrong from all his results since 1998, including his victory in the 2000 Tour de France; the Union Cycliste Internationale has confirmed this verdict.
